Intervention1: Dexmedetomidine: Patients will receive loading dose of 1 mcg/kg of drug diluted in 100 ml of 0.9% saline IV over a period of 10 minutes before induction of anaesthesia followed by infus

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients belonging to ASA grade I and II, scheduled to undergo FESS under G.A.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known allergy to dexmedetomidine and magnesium sulphate 2. Patients with uncontrolled blood pressure 3. Patients with BMI >30 kg/m2 4. History of renal, hepatic, cardiovascular or neuromuscular disease 5. Pregnancy
