Intervention1: tranexamic acid: will receive intravenous (IV) tranexamic acid 10 mg/kg in 100 ml 0.9% NaCl over 20 minutes after induction of anesthesia and before surgical incision

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a. Patients with ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologist) physical status 1,2,3 undergoing major cancer surgery with risk of more than 500 ml blood loss b. Age =18 years and =65 years of both genders.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a. History of bleeding disorder, any family history of thrombotic disorder, past or present thromboembolic disease b. Any uncontrolled cardiovascular illness
