Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Neonates and infants with laryngomalacia for cases, Infants without laryngomalacia for controls.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. infants older than 2 years b. HIV positive and immuno-compromised babies c. Severely sick babies that are unfit for laryngeal examination under general anaesthesia d. Bleeding disorders in babies. e. Acute upper or lower respiratory infections.
