Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1.To objectively analyse Global longitudinal strain (GLS), Peak segmental longitudinal strain (PSLS) in continuous infusion of magnesium group and bolus group. 2.To evaluate Global circumferential strain of left ventricle, in continuous infusion of magnesium group and bolus group. 3.To study the difference in vasoactive inotropic score, 4.To evaluate hemodynamics while coming off bypass to evaluate magnesium induced myocardial protection. 5. Duration of inotropic support, Mechanical ventilation required between both the groups. LVOT DIAMETER (cm) LVOT CROSS SECTIONAL AREA cm2 LVOT VTI cm LVOT STROKE VOLUME ml/beat LVOT CARDIAC OUTPUT (L/min) LVOT CARDIAC INDEX (L/min/m2) Timepoint: 1.Before institution of cardiopulmonary bypass 2.After termination of cardiopulmonary bypass | — |
