Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Dental students aged 18â??30 years with a minimum of 20 teeth and intact periodontium.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants wearing orthodontic or prosthetic appliances. 2. Participants with parafunctional habits. 3. Participants with a history of allergy to constituents used in test and control dentifrices 4. Participants who received any periodontal treatment in the last 3 months. 5. Participants who are under medication for any other systemic illness.

Periodontal health status using gingival index, plaque index and CPI index and Subgingival oral microflora count. Timepoint: Baseline,6th week and 3rd month
