Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The objective of this study is to find a correlation between internal jugular vein (IJV) and common carotid artery (CCA) diameter ratio and stroke volume variation (SVV) measurement and find a cut-off value for the IJV/CCA ratio for estimating the volume status in critically ill patients.Timepoint: On admission (Baseline), After Fluid bolus (15 min), After Blood pressure Stabilization | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess the efficacy of IJV to CCA ratio for predicting fluid responsiveness.Timepoint: On admission (Baseline), after fluid bolus (After 15 min), after blood pressure stabilisation | — |
