Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) OA- related chronic knee pain for = 6 months 2) Radiologic tibiofemoral OA (grade 2-4, Kellgren Lawrence grading for OA knee, evaluated by an experienced radiologist)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Prior knee surgery 2) Serious neurologic or psychiatric disorder 3) Injection with steroids or hyaluronic acid during the previous 3 months 4) Current use of anticoagulant drugs 5) Patients who refuse a single staged procedure
