Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Type 2 diabetic patients of 45 to 65 years. Subjects with fasting blood glucose level 100 mg / dl Both males and females with type 2 diabetes will be recruited Subject should not have any major systemic or diabetic complication. Subjects who are on oral hypoglycemic drugs and not on insulin administration. Subjects with low activity level as per IPAQ criteria. (Booth,2000) Cooperative in nature and willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with type 1 Diabetes mellitus. Using insulin/injections of any kind Pregnant women Physically active subjects. Uncontrolled and fluctuating hypertension and blood glucose level Previous myocardial infarction Any other condition or history that might increase the risk to the individual or interfere with the study or the evaluation of data. Cardiac arrhythmias Non cooperative and unwilling subjects. Use of metal implants, cardiac pacemakers or any other electrical device that are contraindicated for electrical stimulation. Subjects who undergone any major surgical intervention. Skin condition that may interfere with the delivery of the electrical stimulation. Addicted to alcohol, smoking or drugs that interferes with the neuromuscular system.
