Interventions

Intervention1: Antenatal Lactation Counselling: small group counselling technique will be used in which 5 mothers in the experimental group will be counselled at a time for the duration of 30 minutes.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primigravidae who 1.completed 32 weeks of gestation. 2.planned for institutional delivery at JIPMER. 3.deliver their baby either through NVD, instrumental or LSCS at term.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Primipara mothers 1.whose babies born with any congenital malformations. 2.Who have postnatal complications with the possibility of getting admitted in ICU.
