Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients planned for pancreaticoduodenectomy from 18 to 80 years, in the department of SGE, AIIMS, BBSR. 2. Patients with a performance status of Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG)-0 ,1, 2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with musculoskeletal disorders. 2. Patients with neuromuscular weakness. 3. Patients presenting with gastric outlet obstruction. 4. Patient classified according to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grading into ASA 3 and above. 5. Patients with severe cardiac and respiratory compromise. 6. Patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
