Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children between the age group of 5 to 10 years, irrespective of their gender, religion and socio-economic status will be included. 2. Children who are Arha (eligible) for Basti Karma will be included in the study. 3. Children whose parents are willing to sign the written consent form and to follow the treatment protocol will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Children below 5 years and above 10 years of age will be excluded. 2) Children with neuromuscular diseases having difficulties in deglutition will be excluded.

MeasureTime frame
In Samyak Niruha & Anuvasana Lakshanas, effect of Samsarjana Krama will be assessed based on the following parameters 1.Proper evacuation of feces,urine and flatus. 2.Improvement in sleep quality. 3.Improvement in digestion.Timepoint: specific pathya aahara will be provided for a period of 8 days during the course of yoga basti in children.

Agnibala will be assessed by 1. Assessment of Abhyavaharana shakti 2. Assessment of Jarana shakti.Timepoint: specific pathya aahara will be provided for a period of 8 days during the course of yoga basti in children
