Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients willing to give written informed consent 2.ASA grade I and II 3.Body weight 30-60kgs 4.Patient undergoing elective abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia with controlled ventilation 5.Patients of either gender with age group ranging from 18 to 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Known/ predicted difficult airway 2.Mouth opening 3.Patients with body mass index = 30 kg/m2 4.Surgery lasting for >2hours 5.Patients with increased risk of aspiration of gastric contents (NBM status unknown,nonfasted,gastrointestinal stricture or stenosis)

1.To assess & compare the difference in Mean Oropharyngeal Leak Pressure (OLP) in both groups at different time interval of insertion 2.To assess & compare the difference in insertion characteristics (no.of insertion attempts,ease of insertion & insertion time) in both the groupsTimepoint: At time of insertion At 5 minutes At 15 minutes At 30 minutes At 45 minutes At 60 minutes
