Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients admitted to ICU and are on non-invasive mechanical ventilation. 2. Both genders male and female 3. Adults 16 to 60 years 4. Patients self-dependent for functional activities before admission to hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients are excluded if they had undergone any surgery like thoracic, cardiac, abdominal or fractures. 2. Any condition restricting mobility. 3. Ulcers or open wounds 4. Cancer or metastasis. 5. Patients with neurological deficits. 6. The patient will have no invasive femoral arterial lines. 7. Patient with invasive ventilation like endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube . pre-existing neuromuscular disease 8. Radiotherapy or chemotherapy within the previous 6 months
