Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients willing to comply with all study procedures and availability for the duration of the study. 2.Patients between 18 ââ?¬â?? 60 years of age group without any bar of sex, religion. 3.Patient suffering from chronic functional constipation based on diagnostic criteria which were fulfilled for the past 3 months with symptoms onset at least 6 months before diagnosis. 4.Patients eligible for Niruha Basti / Virechana.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with age below 18 years & above 60 years. 2.Patient suffering from Arsha, Bhagandara, Parikartika. 3.Patient suffering from diseases such as rectal carcinoma, rectal polyp. 4.Patient suffering from endocrine diseases like hypothyroidism. 5.Patient with the suspicion to metabolic aetiologies and organic disorders such as obstructive disorders and neurological problems. 6.Patient suffering from acute and end stage of liver, renal or cardiac diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, type 2 DM.
