Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients requiring fixed appliance therapy 2.Type of malocclusion including Class I, Class II and Class III 3.Adolescent or adult patients 4.Absence of buccal restorations 5.Bimaxillary protrusion cases needing extraction of all four first premolars

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Teeth with facial restorations or congenital enamel defects 2.Teeth not fully erupted 3. Surgically exposed teeth 4.Teeth where bracket could not be immedietly placed 5.Dentition with occlusal interferences and deep bite hindering proper bracket positioning 6. Teeth with any caries or fracture on the buccal surface. 7. No consent
