Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient willing to give consent. 2. 18-70 years old. 3. Moderate to very severe alopecia areata -according to SALT Score as below SALT SCORE SEVERITY OF AA 0% No Hair Loss 1-20% Limited 21-49% Moderate 50-94% Severe 95-100% Very Severe
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy and lactation. 2. Patients with uncontrolled liver, renal, cardiovascular, hematological or connective tissue disorders. 3. Contraindication to oral tofacitinib or oral steroid. 4. Patients received systemic treatment within 1 month before presenting to our Out Patient Department.
