Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (Stage 1,2 and 3 as per Hoehn and Yahr scale) Patients with clinically noticeable resting tremors

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A) Patients with other neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and cerebellar disorders. B) Patients with recent spinal fracture, cardiovascular diseases, Rheumatoid arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions that can affect hand function.

MeasureTime frame
To record the amplitude & frequency of resting tremors, using accelerometers, in patients with PD, following eccentric training. To record the amplitude and frequency of resting tremors, using accelerometers, in patients with PD, following hand resistance training. To compare the effectiveness of the above-mentioned interventions on resting tremors in patients with PD. Timepoint: Baseline and four weeks
