Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with beta thalassemia major Children who are on blood transfusion for the frequency of 4 weeks Father and mother of children with thalassemia major

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Single parent of child with thalassemia major

The optimum health of children with thalassemia will be improved after the implementation of parent empowerment programme The psychosocial wellbeing of parents will be improved after the implementation of parent empowerment programmeTimepoint: The optimal health of children with thalassemia and the psychosocial wellbeing of parents will be improved after 4 sessions (duration of 4 months) of educational sessions of parent empowerment programme
