Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All ASA1 & ASA2 obstetric patients in the age group 18years to 50years presenting for LSCS at term will be enrolled during the time period of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of neck surgeries 2. patients with neck swellings 3. ASA 3 and above

MeasureTime frame
Ultrasound has shown to be very useful in airway assessment. In the non obstetric population, it has shown that depth of airway, particularly the depth of cricothyroid membrane can be predicted with formula using patient weight. This study will check if this applies in the obstetric population. This knowledge will help us in difficult airway management in obstetric patients in the future may be from next dayTimepoint: Ultrasound has shown to be very useful in airway assessment.
