Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Women with a diagnosis of infertility and PCOS as defined by the Rotterdam criteria. 2 Willing to sign the consent for study participation. 3 Able and willing to comply with the treatment schedule.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients having any other disease-causing anovulation excluding PCOS on the above criteria. 2 Severe obesity (BMI >35) 3 Neoplastic, metabolic, hepatic and cardiovascular disorders or other concurrent medical illnesses. 4 Any organic reproductive tract lesions like tuberculosis, congenital deformities and organic pelvic disease. 5 Tubal blockage or male factor infertility and no other known cause of infertility. 6 Hyperprolactinemia, hypo and hyperthyroidism.
