Control Intervention1: Intravenous dexmedetomidine: Dexmedetomidine (1 mcg/kg) added to 100 ml normal saline and it is given 10 mins prior to surgery .Block will be given with 0.5% Bupivacaine (10 ml)

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing upper limb surgeries under supraclavicular brachial plexus blockas sole anaesthesia 1)ASA physical status I,II,III, Age between 18 years to 65 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: In cases where the anaesthetic plan changes after giving block
