Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients, aged 18 - 65 years, belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia with tracheal intubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with cardiovascular disease, hepatic or renal disease or diabetes mellitus 2.Anticipated difficult airway 3.Perioperative use of vasopressor
