Health Condition 1: I252- Old myocardial infarction

Interventions

Intervention1: Flaxseeds: patients will receive 30 grams of milled flaxseed once a day with meal. Control Intervention1: No change in dietary habits.: patients will have a normal routine diet.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with angiographically confirmed coronary artery disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: allergy to flaxseeds
