Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who require extraction of all first premolars in their treatment protocol. 2. patients with mandibular anterior crowding with Littles irregularity index more than 10mm. 3. patients without any clinical or radiographic signs of periodontal disease. 4. patients with sound general health without any systemic disease. 5. patients who will request for reduced treatment period. 6. patients who will consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients on antibiotics, anti-inflammatory or steroids. 2. Presence of primary teeth or missing permanent teeth other than third molars in the mandibular arch. 3. Patients requiring orthognathic surgery. 4. Patients with any congenital cranio-facial anomaly or affected by craniofacial syndromes. 5. Patients with pre-existing psychiatric or undergoing psychiatric therapy.
