Intervention1: Intravesical dexmedetomidine: 2.5 ug/kg dexmedetomidine in 100ml NS will be instilled through Foleyâ??s catheter and the catheter will be clamped for 30 minutes. Control Intervention1:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with renal stones about to undergo Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of overactive bladder (frequency >3 times in the night or >8 times in 24 h), neurogenic bladder, morbid obesity, chemical substance abuse, chronic pain, and cardiovascular, hepatic or any psychiatric disease will be excluded.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Arterial concentration of dexmedetomidine in both the groupsTimepoint: At 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 & 24 hours after administration of drug.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of CRBD in each group.Timepoint: 3, 6, 12 & 24 hours after administration of drug.;Incidence of side effects like bradycardia, hypotensionTimepoint: 30 minutes, 1,2,3, hours after administration of surgery.
