Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing MRI scan for lower back pain referred to Department of Radiodiagnosis for investigative purpose.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of lumbar surgery, lumbar fracture, lumbar infection, lumbar tumor. Pregnant patients. Patients with metallic implants, pacemaker/cochlear implant. Patients with claustrophobia/any other psychiatric abnormality. Uncooperative patients and those refusing to give informed consent.

ADC values shows positive correlation with disc degeneration & correlates with facetal joint arthropathy grading.Timepoint: 1 year
