Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group- 20-50 yrs 2. Patients willing for voluntary participation & have signed informed consent for thedescribed procedure. 3. Patients having good physical and mental health . 4. Systemically healthy subjects. 5. Patients with moderately severe and chronic( >3 months) pain and jaw dysfunction. 6. Patients having subluxation without reduction. 7. Compromised mouth opening 8. Degenerative joint disease of the TMJ as the primary source of pain.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: . Immunocompromised patients. 2. Psychologically compromised patients. 3. Allergy to Local anesthesia. 4. Dental problem or sinus pathology potentially contributing to pain. 5. Active rheumatological condition. 6. Pain due to infection 7. G6PD Defeciency 8. Pregnancy or breast feeding. 9. Osseous defects 10. TMJ disarticulation. 11. Myofascial pain dysfunction as the sole or primary source of pain. 12. Edentulous subjects. 13. Limited opening secondry to extra-articular pathology. 14. Fibromyalagia. 15. Allergy to study medication.
