Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients of either gender above 18 years scheduled to undergo lung resection surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who refuse to give consent to participate in the study 2. Patients who require invasive ventilation anytime between POD 1 to POD 5 3. Patients who require diaphragm resection in addition to lung resection 4. Patients with pre-existing air-leak.
