Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All primi and multigravida who underwent vaginal delivery with episiotomy. 2. Patients who are willing to be the part of this study and signed informed consent form. 3. Hb having above 8 gm%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic disorders in pregnancy like Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Pulmonary Tuberculosis,Impaired thyroid Functions. 2. Patients with skin diseases. 3. Patients with serology positive for HIV, VDRL, HBsAg. 4. History of impaired wound healing. 5. Patients with perineal tears. 6. Patients having perineal haematoma or abscess. 7. Patient with any bleeding disorder/ Hb having less than 8 gm%
