Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are willing to participate in the study and who are conscious, oriented and cooperative. 2.Patients who have undergone abdominal surgery. 3.Either gender are included. 4.Age: >18 – 70 years 5.Patients who are on Oxygen support with mask and nasal prongs. 6.Subjects who can read/write/understand English or Kannada language.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are not willing to participate in the study. 2.Patients who are unable to ambulate and are bed ridden from past 1 year . 3.Patients who have undergone any fracture of lower limb. Eg. hip, pelvis fracture where non weight bearing is indicated. 4.Patients with post operative complications like Deep vein thrombosis (DVT). 5.Patients with chest polytrauma, head injury, facial trauma, moderate to severe burns. 6.Patients who are on mechanical ventilator support via endotracheal tube, fibro optic nasal intubation, tracheostomy
