Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of age group between 21-60yrs fulfilling diagnostic criteria irrespective of gender, religion, and socio-economic status. Sub categorization of age from 21-30yrs, 31-40yrs, 41-50yrs, 51-60yrs will be done. 2.Patients having signs & symptoms of Dadru Kustha(Tinea corporis). 3.Patients having chronicity less than 3yrs 4.Distribution of skin lesions on waistline, axillae, buttocks, other parts of the trunk, extremities. 5.Patients having positive results for Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) examination of skin scraping & fungal culture by Sabouraud’s medium 6.Patients willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged below 20yrs & above 60yrs 2.Patients having chronicity of more than 3yrs 3.Distribution of skin lesions on palms, soles, groins 4.Patients of Psoriasis, Discoid Eczema, Atopic Dermatitis, Pityriasis Rosea, Secondary Syphilis, Tinea Versicolor, Tuberculoid Leprosy, Intertrigo with Scabies will be excluded based on clinical features 5.Systemic diseases, auto immune diseases - Diabetes Mellitus, Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, AIDS, Obesity . 6.Currently on mediations- usage of recurrent immune suppressants (corticosteroids) 7.Pregnant women & lactating mothers
