Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients presenting with acute appendicitis to the Emergency Department between the age group of 14 to 75 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with appendicular perforation / appendicular lump. 2. Pregnancy 3. Patients not giving consent and unable to comprehend the nature of study. 4. Open appendectomy with McBurneys/ Lanz incision. 5. Laparoscopic Appendicectomy. 6. Patients with appendicular perforation / appendicular lump. 7. Chronic Renal Failure. 8. Malignancy. 9. Psychiatric and Mental disorder.
