Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are willing to give written informed consent to participate in the study. 2. Treatment naïve female patients of age group 15-45 years presenting with mastalgia = 5 days in the prior month and pain intensity = 3 on VAS scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with known or suspected breast cancer. 2. Scoring more than 3 on BIRADS classification on ultrasonography [Annexure-3] 3. Patient with infective or inflammatory mastitis. 4. Patient with severe deficiency of vitamin D ( 5. Recent history of therapeutic vitamin D3 consumption. 6. Women on oral contraceptives and other hormonal therapies. 7. Patients who have a history of hypersensitivity to any of the study drugs or any contraindication to any drug involved in this study. 8. Patients with an education level less than 5th standard.
