Intervention1: Training Module on IV Cannulation for 3 hours per day for one batch (40 nurses each batch). This will be continued for 1 week: Clinical trial for IV Cannulation insertion and its mainte

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Staff nurses: 1)Staff Nurses who have completed GNM, B.Sc., or M.Sc 2)They should be certified with practical hours during their curriculums or have some experience. 3)Staff Nurses who are working in ICUs, IMC, OT, Trauma care departments, general medicine, surgical, ENT, ICU, orthopedic, Obstetric wards of the tertiary health centers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Staff nurses who are Freshers. 2)Staffs who are not willing to participate in the study 3)Staff Nurses who are working in OPD, CSSD departments of the tertiary health centers. (Patients who are Geriatric and Paediatric are not involved by the staff nurses to practice considering the high-risk groups)

Nurses of multispecialty hospital have certain level of skills in intravenous cannulation insertion its maintenance with MOM but encountered some gap during practices To cover up this gap training provided to reduce the loopholes in the skills as per structured checklist prepared Training sessions taken into the batches of forty for each session for four days The researcher provided knowledge questionnaire including the interventional & control group confirmed their anticipation Pretest Skill assessment for PIVC & MOM was done on the mannequin Hands on practice & training was given only to the interventional groups repeat practice sessions were given to some of the nurses who were not confident about the procedure once training was completed Posttest assessment for knowledge & practice of PIVC & MOM on mannequin feedback was given to all nurses regarding the level of performance and improvement posttrainingTimepoint: 6 weeks after training	—
