Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with both Type-1 and Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus having features ofDaha(Burning sensation), Harsha(Tingling sensation), Suptata(Numbness). 2.Both freshly detected and treated cases of Diabetic Neuropathy. 3.Those who are under medication for Diabetic Neuropathy. 4.Subjects of either gender between the age group of 20-70years will be selected. 5.Subjects fit for Basti karma are selected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with other systemic diseases which would interfere with the course of treatment will be excluded like Coronary artery disease, Peripheral artery disease etc. 2.Subjects with controlled and uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus i,e FBS >300mg/dl PPBS >350mg/dl and HbA1c above 9% will be excluded. 3.Subjects with Neuropathies secondary to causes other than Diabetes such as Alcoholism, Drug abuse, Vitamin B12 deficiency, Cirrhosis of the liver, Hepatitis, Renal insufficiency will be excluded. 4.Subjects with other complications of Diabetes Mellitus like Diabetic Nephropathy, Infectious wounds,Gangrene and Foot ulcers will be excluded. 5.Pregnant women & lactating mothers.
