Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Fit patients who are planned for cataract surgery and underwent PCR intraoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who were non cooperative on table. Post Vitreoretinal surgery patients. H/O Ocular trauma B scan in dense cataract s/o posterior media opacity & retinal detachment K/C/O Glaucoma and glaucoma suspects. Corneal opacity Zonular dialysis. Subluxated lens. Inability to give informed consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate uncorrected visual acuity as well as best corrected visual acuity in all cases of PCR Timepoint: On immediate post op day then after one week as well as after one month after manual SICS

MeasureTime frame
To document & evaluate various methods used to manage Posterior Capsular Rent intraoperatively with post operative visual outcomeTimepoint: After PCR has occured on table during manual SICS;To document the rate of endophthalmitis in patients undergoing Posterior Capsular Rent during Small Incision Cataract SurgeryTimepoint: Anytime within 1 month of manual SICS
