CT scan is done using different methods of slices (Thickness). There are advantages and disadvantages of these methods. In this study, we plan to understand which of the 2 methods,(Automatic and Manual) is safer in terms of exposure to radiation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants who are undergoing examination of CECT abdomen scan

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Participants with history of contrast allergy 2)Participants with creatinine level more than 1.3 mg/dL

Determine which method of slice thickness is better for reduction of radiation dose in CECT abdomen scanTimepoint: The time from beginning of the scan to end of the scan (approximately 2-3 minutes)

MeasureTime frame
Determine which slice selection method will provide a lesser scan time in CECT abdomenTimepoint: The time from beginning of the scan to end of the scan in both automatic & manual slice selection (approximately 2-3 minutes)
