Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of anaesthesia grade 1 patient will be included with no comorbid state with malampatti airway assessment grade 1 undergoing various surgical procedure in elective setting.All patient above ASA grade 1 and malampatti grade 1 were excluded from the study.Only patient with haemogloin 10gm %or above will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with any comorbidity ,smokers, BMI >25,American Society of Anaesthesia Grade 2(ASA),Mallampatti Grade >1,Pregnency,Haemoglobin <10gm%

MeasureTime frame
1.Measure time available for aponic oxygen desaturation to fall of spo2 to 94% after deep breathing preoxygenation(DB)12 with oxygen 10 lit/minute during aponic period. 2.To measure Build up of ETCO2 at the end of Aponic period 3. Time take or number of breath to achieve ET02 of 90 % Timepoint: 1BASAL OXYGEN SATURATION -At begining of preoxygenation on air 2.OXYGEN SATURATION At end of 12 deep breath 3.Measure time available for aponic oxygen desaturation to fall of spo2 to 94% after deep breathing preoxygenation(DB)12 with oxygen 10 lit/minute during aponic period. 4.To measure Build up of ETCO2 at the end of Aponic period from basal level at end of 12 deep breath 5. Basal ET02 and time or number of breath taken to achieve ET02 of 90 %

MeasureTime frame
1.Changes in heart rate & blood pressue (MAP)during apnoic oxygenation following intubation from basal at every 2 minutes. 2.Saftey of patients during apnoic oxygenation period in terms of arrythemias Timepoint: 1.Changes in blood pressure ,pulse & mean arterial pressure from basal to every 2 minutes before & after induction of general anaesthesia & during apnoeic period 2.Cardiac arrhythmias noted by continous ECG monitoring at any time
