Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the association of genotypes CC,GC,GG of GABRA2 rs11503014 gene with post induction hypotension with propofol in patients undergoing general anaesthesia.Timepoint: 0 minute , every minute thereafter till 8 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.To study the relationship between genotypes AA, AG, GG of GABRA1 rs2279020 gene & genotypes TT, TC, CC of GABRA1 rs1157122 with hypotension after induction of anaesthesia with propofol. 2.Total requirement of fluid for correcting hypotension induced by propofol during anaesthesia. 3.To determine ephedrine requirement for hypotension not responding to fluid boluses. Timepoint: 0 minute , every minute thereafter till 8 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes
