Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1.Singleton pregnancy 2.Term pregnancy 3.ASA I and II patients 4.Category II/III fetal heart rate tracings

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1.Fetal structural abnormality 2.Fetal chromosomal abnormality 3.Known respiratory disorders in pregnancy 4.Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy 5.Obesity

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome: To compare the Umbilical venous PaO2 between room air, face mask & HFNC group via ABG obtained after clamping of umbilical cord at the time of delivery. Timepoint: At the time of Delivery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes: To assess the other Umbilical venous blood gas parameters : - pH, lactate ,pCO2,HCO3 & Base excess via ABG obtained after clamping of umbilical cord after delivery To analyse APGAR score at 1 min & 5 min after delivery To note number of episodes of accelerations, decelerations, tachycardia (160bpm) & bradycardia ( 110 bpm) in the FHR after randomization has been done till shifting to OR. To assess Maternal Arterial blood gas parameters - pH, lactate ,pCO2,HCO3 & Base excess at delivery of child To assess Umbilical arterial blood gas parameters -pH, lactate ,pCO2,HCO3 & Base excess at delivery of childTimepoint: at time of delivery, 1 min after delivery, 5 min after delivery
