Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients having age in between 18 to 70 years 2.Patients would be selected Irrespective of gender & socio-economic status 3.patients having lakshanas of Vatarakta as mentioned in Granthas. A Sandhishool. B Sandhidaha. C Sandhi pradeshi Sparsha - Asahatva. D Sandhi pradeshi Vaivarnya. 4.Patients with uric acid level more than 6.0 mg/dl.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant & lactating women 2. Patients having major Systemic illness

Decrease in symptoms as per assessment criteria explained in synopsis, that are 1-Sandhishool 2-Sandhidaha 3-Sandhi pradeshi sparsha asahtva 4-Sandhi pradeshi vaivarnya 5-Number of joints involved And decrease in the serum uric acid levels as per gradation and assessment criteria given in synopsis Timepoint: 0th day -10th day and 21st day
