| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the efficacy of USG guided Pericapsular Nerve group block(PENG) with sham procedure in reducing the pain ,in the adult patients with hip fractures presenting to the Emergency department. Timepoint: The outcome assessment of NRS is assessed at 0 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours post intervention. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the total amount of rescue analgesia requirements between ultrasound guided Pericapsular nerve group (PENG )block & sham procedures in Patients with Hip fractures presenting to the Emergency department. 2. To assess the complications of USG guided PENG blocks and compare it with sham procedure in patients with Hip fractures presenting to the Emergency Department.
