Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A) Study Group A (postmenopausal women) 1. Have no menstrual cycle in the past 1 year 2. Not on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) 3. No relevant medical history 4. Not on medication affecting depression/anxiety 5. Married B) Control Group B (healthy menstruating women) 1. Aged 35-45 years with regular menstrual cycle 2. No relevant medical history affecting the menstrual cycle like epilepsy, thyroid problems, metabolic syndrome, Cushingâ??s disease, and PCOD. 3. Not on medication affecting depression/anxiety 4. Married
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patients falling under the following categories will be excluded from the study. 1. Medically compromised 2. Known patient of autoimmune disorders 3. Consume alcohol or tobacco in any form. 4. On HRT/oral contraceptives/depression/anxiety/ steroids 5. Pregnant or lactating women (control group) 6. Women with disorders affecting the menstrual cycle like epilepsy, thyroid problems, metabolic syndrome, Cushingâ??s disease, and PCOD. 7. Divorced / Widow
