Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Childern having classical features of kaphaja kasa 2.Age between 5 - 16 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Below the age of 5 year and above 16 year. 2. Patient presenting with symptoms other than kaphaja kasa. 3. known case of tuberculosis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma, pulmonary eosinophilia or any other systematic disease. 4. Cough associated with severe malnutrition 5. Known case of neurological disorder.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. decrease in cough. 2. decrease in sputum production. 3. decrease in nasal dischargeTimepoint: assessment at an interval of 3 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Reduced sputum formation with change in colour of sputum 2. Absence of headache 3. decrease in frequency of boutTimepoint: assessment at an interval of 3 days.
