Exclusion criteria: Post operative radiotherapy Palliative radiotherapy Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for early NSCLC Reirradiation Radiotherapy for small cell lung cancer Patients who will receive 3D conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) for NSCLC Consolidative radiotherapy for oligometastatic disease

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Rates of & time to develop patient reported acute moderate to severe difficulty in swallowing in patients treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy sequential chemoradiotherapy or radical radiotherapy alone in locally advanced non small cell lung cancer Timepoint: During radiotherapy & within 3 months of radiotherapy

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find out the concordance in grades & time to develop patient reported vs clinician reported acute radiation esophagitis To find out the factors (patient related/tumour related or treatment related) that are associated with development of patient reported acute moderate to severe difficulty in swallowing Timepoint: During radiotherapy & within 3 months of radiotherapy
