Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: singleton pregnancy live fetus at 11-13 week scan

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pre-gestational diabetes diagnosis of frank DM at first ante-natal visit

MeasureTime frame
Development of GDM and gestational age at diagnosis.Timepoint: Antenatal women will be recruited any time prior to 20 weeks,where after patients consent,all known GDM risk factors will be noted down at 3 visits.Three visits include-booking visit 2nd-11-14 th week visit last at 18-20 weeks.

MeasureTime frame
Gestational age at diagnosis & adverse perinatal outcome due to GDM like macrosomia ,polyhydroamnios ,birth trauma ,shoulder dystocia, neonatal hypoglycemia, polycythemia, pathological jaundice, metabolic/electrolyte disturbances, RDS & other forms of respiratory distress need of resuscitation & cardiorespiratory support persistent cardiac shunts etcTimepoint: Pregnancy will be followed up until DELIVERY & adverse perinatal events related to GDM will be recorded
