Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients undergoing elective surgeries requiring General Anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: limited neck movement, underlying fractures or deformities of face, pathologies which interfere with ultrasound scanning of neck, previous radiation to head and neck, previous head and neck surgery, anticipated difficult airways requiring awake fiberoptic intubation, presence of beard, edentulous patients
