Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group -1(Adults with stuttering) Adults who stutter between the ages of 18 – 55 years – diagnosed by an experienced speech-language pathologist, with a stuttering severity equivalent to at least “mild ? to “severe ?; Individuals with good respiratory support, the primary and native language of the individual should be Kannada with dialects permissible; Group - 2 (Adults without stuttering) The primary language of communication should be Kannada, with no complaint of stuttering

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with any other associated speech /hearing/ cognitive /language/ neurological deficits; Individuals with diagnosed mental health issues/ receiving any medications on a continuous basis; Individuals with laryngeal / respiratory pathologies/history of previous surgeries of larynx.

To compare the oral & laryngeal diadachokinesis rate in adults with & without stuttering. Timepoint: 43 weeks
