Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients needing bonding in upper and lower arch with 0.022 “slot MBT prescription stainless steel orthodontic brackets and banding in first molars with no other auxiliaries required other than TPA in the maxilla. 2. Patients who do not require therapeutic extraction of teeth 3. Patients willing to give consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of systemic disease 2. Presence of smoking habit, habit of chewing gums 3. Use of anti-inflammatory or antibiotic medication 4. Patients with history of Copper or Zinc allergy

MeasureTime frame
Salivary ion release of Copper & Zinc nanoparticles must be within non toxic ranges.Timepoint: T0 baseline T1 1st week after bonding T2 1st month after bonding T3 3rd month after bonding

Surface changes of coated nanoparticle bracketsTimepoint: T1 before bonding T2 after debonding
