Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with CKD stages 3, 4, &5 and who are undergoing echocardiography. Patients with age 18-85 years Patients with normal ejection fraction (EF >55%)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: CKD patients with coronary artery disease, congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease. CKD patients with pericardial disease leading to significant pericardial effusion causing tamponade. Poor window in echocardiography Pregnant patients

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Outcome is that the Chronic kidney disease patient with hypertension to have reduced GLS as compared to Chronic kidney disease patient without hypertension.Timepoint: 10-15 mins

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Lv diastolic function by conventional echocardiography will be reduced in CKD patients with hypertension as compared to CKD patients without hypertension.Timepoint: 10min
